British-Born Ghanaian Artiste Miss Mercy sings cover of Solomon Lange’s Yabo.

British-Born Ghanaian Artiste Miss Mercy sings cover of Solomon Lange’s Yabo. Miss Mercy aka Mercy Ankama has been singing since 8 years old.

Here are her thoughts about the Song “Yabo”. Growing up in a Christian household, I couldn’t help but to develop a love for Gospel music. Being a Ghanaian living in the UK and being surrounded by so many
different people from various backgrounds,it is not unusual to hear Gospel music in different languages. I have always loved that. I would like to think of myself as a true worshipper and it’s amazing to be able to praise God not only in my mother tongue but also be able to praise him in other languages. So apart from the fact that, YABO by Solomon Lange was beautifully composed and quite written by someone who has a great deal of knowledge about the things of God, the opportunity to sing in Hausa,
really drove me to do a cover of it.

It was a little challenging at first but after doing a Google search for the lyrics some practice I felt confident enough. God Bless you Solomon Lange, I pray that you continue to make amazing
inspiring music.
