As the #ENDSARS protests continue across Nigeria, Africa and the world as a whole, a peculiar group of Christian youths have launched a prayer walk in support of the cause.
Following global protests by Nigerian youths home and abroad against the operations of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police (SARS), it was suggested all over social media that Christians also take a stand.
As some churches supported the movement, others remained on the sidelines in order to avoid being involved in politics and politicking. However, the cause has gained ground as the Inspector General of Police has addressed the issue.
Some Christian youth have also found an ingenious way of showing solidarity to the cause by coming out in large groups to conduct a prayer walk.
These hundreds of Christian youths have taken to the streets to intercede for Nigeria as they protest against the atrocities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.
Video recordings of the prayer session have been making rounds all over social media. The videos show most of the intercessors were speaking in tongues.
This is indeed a laudable effort and it is wonderful to see young Christians championing a noble cause in the best possible way!
