“11. …as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of three cities, namely: Samaria, Galilee, and a certain
village that had no name. It was a case of two cities that had names and established
identities and one whose identity was unknown. Two cities were prominent and one
city was largely obscure and insignificant.
It was in the ‘certain city’ that Jesus healed the ten lepers. The city had no name,
but something great and mighty happened therein. In the end, it was not about the
name; it was about what happened in the city; it was about the experience in the
Friend, God says, don’t go for the name; go for the experience. Don’t focus on how
loud your name sounds in the ears of men; focus on how much experience God grants
you in your location. Focus on what God is doing in you than in how men perceive
you; focus on your content and productivity than in the perception of men concerning
Forget the name, go for experience. It’s not about your name; it’s about your
experience. It’s not about your reputation; it’s about your character and
performance. It’s not about what people say about you; it’s about what you have
Don’t judge any man by what you see on the outside; look for content. Even in
obscure locations, look for the rewarding opportunities therein.
Perception is nothing; content is everything. What you become in life is not about
how men perceive you; it’s all about your performance and how much you manifest what
you have in you. You may be a ‘certain village’, but you have the capacity to be
more and do more.
Pray With Me: Lord, I choose to go for content and experience, in Jesus’ name!
