Contemporary gospel music minister and worship leader Beloved John Apewajoye has released his new song titled Ekele. Also known as BJ, the Jos, Plateau State born song writer is back in Nigeria having been in South Africa for over 5 years. His encounter with destiny started when he gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1999 at Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel).
The song is a worship song, declaring the glory of God. The beat is a soulful afro-rock sound with light ensemble and percussion. It’s a lovely song for your early morning worship and times when you want to lift up your heart in thanksgiving. Ekele is an Igbo word, meaning ”Thanks”. Here is the song.
BELOVEDJOHN became exposed to International music when he moved to the city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and joined the House on the Rock Church. He served in the choir for another five years while working as a law enforcement officer for seven years with the federal government of Nigeria. He finally took a step of faith by resigning his job in 2013 to follow his calling and relocated to South Africa with his new project titled Expression. During his stay in South Africa, BJ ministered alongside great artistes in South Africa, in Johannesburg city hall and also in several churches in South Africa. His Song “I Believe” won the third place award on the Angels of Melody radio show in Detroit Michigan USA and is changing lives all over the world. BJ also put together his crew of worshipers called JC ENVOY and together they have been successfully hosting their own worship conference titled ONE VOICE WORSHIP ENCOUNTER and travelling all over South Africa for programs.
