TASHA COBBS' "GRACE" GETS GOLD CERTIFIED

American gospel singer and musician, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, receives RIAA Certification and as such her 2013 album “GRACE” is now gold certified.

The beautiful voiced Tasha Cobbs-Leonard was indeed excited and grateful to receive the news as it came at a time she was not expecting. She expressed her excitement on her Instagram saying:

So I was on live doing meet/greets and interviews with some amazing Radio Personalities. @ejgaines and @coatesmon Text me saying that it’s important for me to call them before my next interview.

Anyone who knows me knows that that had potential not to go well! Lol! I do not like randomness! Pray for me! Lol! … anywho, they pick up the phone! I say β€œomg, what’s the urgency?”

Then @_joimarie_ comes walking around the corner with This @riaa_awards GOLD CERTIFIED PLAQUE for my GRACE ALBUM! WHATTTT!!!!! Wow!!!!! >>>

God is so faithful!!! Monica and EJ… Thx for loving me and wanting to surprise me all the time! πŸ™„πŸ˜… STILL #TakingGraceToTheStreets #Classi

The “GRACE” album is still one of the most successful projects by the artist till date. The album is her major-label debut album.

It was the album that spawned the global classic “BREAK EVERY CHAIN” which had such a great impact on the gospel scene, and for which she won that year’s GRAMMY for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance.

She recently released her latest album Royalty: Live At The Ryman which includes six compelling live performance videos, including the electrifying album opener β€œYou’re Gonna Get The Glory” and the show-stopping duet β€œYou Must Break,” featuring powerhouse vocalist and longtime collaborator Kierra Sheard.
