Nigerian Pastor, philanthropist and life coach, Pastor Tony Rapu, celebrates the rehabilitation of ex urchin, Michael Solomon, who has now made a complete turnaround.
The story of the rehabilitation of ex urchin Michael Solomon, is one that has been several years in the making. He was picked up by the Freedom Foundation of which Tony Rapu is president, and he was rehabilitated.
Well known on the streets as “Shanawole”, Michael was described by neighbors as being one to be feared as he was said to be volatile. He also smoked and drank heavily, even as a young teenager.
However, his story changed upon his encounter with Tony Rapu and the Freedom Foundation. Pastor Tony Rapu posted on his Instagram to share the transformation story saying:
Michael has come a mighty long way!
Michael’s journey to transformation and that of many others through our rehabilitation program further strengthens our resolve and commitment at Freedom Foundation’s ‘House of Refuge’ .
At the House of Refuge, we provide extensive rehabilitation services to drug and alcohol dependent persons. Our 50-bed state of the art Wellness Centre in Lekki and our ultra-modern
20-bed Joy Centre in Surulere are well suited to provide the medical, psychological and spiritual care required for the journey of healing and transformation.
