The atmosphere was filled with praise and the hearts of the people filled with joy. Lagos stood still as the #TheExperience10 swept praise round the city and left her in a manifold of great happiness.
At 5pm the Tafewa Balewa Square was almost filled to its capacity in anticipation of the most coveted gospel concert in Africa. The stage was looking as impressive as ever as the events kicked off with praise and worship from our own indigenous artists like Onos with the aid of the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir (LMGC), Sammie Okposo was next with a thrilling south south praise that got the crowd roaring with praise.
Our Hosts for the night came on stage to observe due protocols, including the presence of the executive governor of Lagos state ably represented by the commissioner for Poverty Alleviation and Women Affairs Hon. Lola Akande, wife to the governor Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, and all pastors and priests present or represented at the events.
As advertised several music ministers both local and international such as Sonnie badu, Don Moen, SammieOkposo, Micah Stampley, Chioma Jesus, Midnight Crew Jessica Reedy, Fred Hammond, Donnie Macclurkin, Kim Burrel, Frank Edwards, Hezekiah Walker, Nathaniel Bassey etc,took to the stage to lift our spirits to God in praise.
it indeed was a memorable one as ministers like Micah Stampley and Donnie Mcclurkin both sang the songs ‘Imela’ and ‘Oghene Doh’ by Frank Edwards and Marvin Joks respectively. it was also a night that saw humorous performances by Yaw, Chigurl, Akpororo and Mc Abbey.
The events host Pastor Paul Adefarasin in his remarks emphasized on the need for unity among the different denominations in Nigeria, in order to have one prayer and one voice in the fight for peace and unity.
The events was rounded off by prayers and a hearty ministration by Chioma Jesus which people danced off to at the early hours the following day.
