Word of the Day : GO FOR CHANGE

“Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his
master, and honourable…he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.” (2
Kings 5: 1)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Naaman’s leprosy didn’t disappear by wishful thinking; Naaman was healed when he
took a shot at his healing; his story changed when he met Prophet Elisha. Naaman was
a Syrian; Elisha was based in Israel. Naaman crossed the borders of his nation and
went to another nation in search of healing; he moved towards his desire.

Friend, it’s not enough to have positive desires; God says, walk and work towards
the desires of your heart. Things may not change on their own; play your part to
make things change. Miracles may not happen on their own; lay a foundation with
prayers, confession of God’s word, seed sowing, consecration, dedication, etc before
the miracles come. Aim at your target, and move towards it.

Work towards the change and improvements you want to see in your home, marriage,
relationships, career, business, character, etc; take strategic steps that will make
your dreams a reality; step out of the comfort zone of wishful thinking and move to
places that hold the resources you need. Whatever you need to become, work towards
it and take your best shot at it.

Namman’s efforts were not fruitless; he played his part by seeking out Elisha,
Elisha played his part by giving a prophecy, while Naaman completed the cycle by
obeying Elisha. The result was an amazing miracle. Complete the cycle that will
bring your next results.

Arise, step out in faith, run towards your goal, aim and move towards your target,
contribute any success ingredient that is yours to contribute, and if Jehovah is
involved, He will play His part to bring your success and results.

Pray With Me: Lord, I choose to play my part to make my results a reality, in Jesus’
