Word of the Day : NO MORE A VICTIM

“…Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon
these slain, that they may live.”
(Ezekiel 37: 9)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In Ezekiel’s prophecy, the dry bones were described as people who were slain. So the
people whose destinies were reduced to dry bones were felled by the sword. Someone
cut short their lives. Their visions, dreams, ambitions, prospects, passions, etc
were murdered in cold blood. They were victims of someone’s sword.

Friend, have your dreams, passion, ambitions, prospects, purposes, opportunities,
etc been slain? Are there people and circumstances that made you a victim or are
trying to make you a victim? Are there people who should have helped you succeed but
rather orchestrated your failure?

Hear God’s prophetic word: you’re no more a victim. You won’t fall victim to the
wicked plans of haters around you. Your progress will not be cut short by people who
are plotting against you. Your destiny will not be short circuited by those who have
made a covenant with satan to cause evil. You won’t be a victim of another man’s
mistake or prosperity. You will not shed tears as a result of another man’s

God has given you a dominion mandate. Dominate over every circumstance that wants to
subdue you. Rise above every challenge that wants to pull you down; rise above the
men who want to make you their victim; rise above the policies that want to reduce

If you have a relationship with God, then you operate with a higher covenant. You
are destined to be above only, and not beneath; you are destined to subdue without
being subdued. Arise and walk in dominion; you’re no more a victim.

Genesis 27: 40 says: “…it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that
thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.”

Pray With Me: Lord, I won’t be a victim; I walk in dominion, in Jesus’ name!
